The America’s Schools Program (ASP) has teamed up with Youth for Human Rights International (YHRI) and MLS W.O.R.K.S to promote awareness of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights through a series of powerful Public Service Announcements created by YHRI.

YHRI’s mission is to teach children human rights so they become valuable advocates for tolerance and peace. Through its series of Public Service Announcements, YHRI brings the 30 articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights to life. Each depicts the fundamental rights that are entitled to all. Through the marketing of its official products and services, and by promoting valuable programs that promote social awareness and human rights, ASP generates invaluable public and private support for vital school programs that all-too-often are subject ot cost cutting in our school curricula – programs such as music, drama, athletics and social awareness education.

MLS W.O.R.K.S., Major League Soccer’s community outreach initiative is dedicated to addressing important social issues affecting young people. It serves as a platform for both league and team philanthropic programs. Its emphasis is on programs and initiatives for school-aged children, and its specific areas of concern include human rights and diversity, respect, fair play, leadership, education, health and wellness.
